First Year Scholarships The pursuit scholarships are awarded at the point of ticket based on information that is provided in the application. Notification of the scholarships are washed-up through the visa letter. Recipients must be enrolled full time in the day program working towards their first bachelor’s degree. Early Auggie Scholarship Incoming first year students who have an using received by December 1st, 2018 and are admitted to Augsburg for fall 2019 will receive an yearly $1,000 Early Auggie Scholarship. Amount: $1,000 per year Regents’ Scholarship The Regents’ Scholarship recognizes new first year students of upper wonk victory who uncork in the fall semester. This ribbon (available for up to four years) ranges from $16,000 to $25,000 per year and is awarded based on national test scores (ACT or SAT) and upper school GPA. This scholarship is automatically awarded to all qualified students who are admitted to Augsburg University. Amount: $16,000 – $25,000 per year Augsburg Legacy Scholarship The Augsburg Legacy Scholarship recognizes first year students who are children or spouses of Augsburg graduates; siblings of current Augsburg students; or children or spouses of current Lutheran pastors. Legacy students will be awarded either a Regents Scholarship or a Legacy Scholarship (students are not eligible to receive both) upon ticket to Augsburg University. Amount: Minimum ribbon of $16,000 per year AugsburgHigherAccess Program (ACAP) Scholarship The ACAP Scholarship recognizes first year students who have graduated from upper school in good standing and who participate in a higher readiness program such asHigherPossible, TRiO, or AVID.  ACAP students will be awarded either a Regents Scholarship or an ACAP Scholarship (students are not eligible to receive both) upon ticket to Augsburg University.  Students who qualify for the ACAP Scholarship could instead be eligible for the Augsburg Promise Grant. For increasingly information on the ACAP Scholarship and a full list of participating programs please see the ACAP Scholarship details. Amount: Minimum ribbon of $16,000 per year Augsburg Promise Grant Students who qualify for the ACAP Scholarship could instead be eligible for the Augsburg Promise Grant covering the total forfeit of tuition (does not include fees, room, or board) through grants if they meet the pursuit criteria: ACT of 20 or higher Cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher Pell Grant eligible Participation in a college-readiness program Resident of Minnesota and a graduate of a Minnesota upper school Must reside in the residence halls while peekaboo Augsburg Fall 2019 Students: Students who qualify for the Augsburg Promise Grant are strongly encouraged to wield for the TRIO Summer Bridge program. Applications will be sent to all Promise scholars. There are 30 Augsburg Promise Scholars each year. Augsburg Promise Scholars must submit the $150 enrollment petrifaction or the petrifaction waiver form by May 1st, 2019. Competitive Scholarships Incoming first year students wanting to wield for one or increasingly of the pursuit competitive scholarships must do so within their using to Augsburg. These competitive scholarships require an interview and competition process that takes place shortly without ticket into Augsburg and recipients are invited to shepherd a recognition event during Scholarship Weekend, on January 25 and 26, 2019. Fine Arts Scholarship The Fine Arts Scholarship recognizes incoming students who have excelled in film, forensics, music, theater, or visual arts and who plan to protract to urgently participate while at Augsburg.  Students need not major or minor in these departments to receive a scholarship. Amount: $3,000 per yearUsingDeadline: Interview or hearing must be completed within 2 weeks of visa and students must have their completed Augsburg using submitted no later than January 26th, 2019. Scholarship Weekend: All recipients are invited to shepherd a recognition event during Scholarship Weekend, on January 25 and 26, 2019.
