Earn a Master of Arts in Leadership (MAL) at Augsburg University and take the next step in your career. The study of leadership applies to a wide variety of career paths. Our leadership program is taught by knowledgeable, engaging sense and provides a liberal arts perspective using multiple disciplines. Augsburg University is triumphal its sesquicentennial in 2019 and has earned a variety of awards and honors.  Best Value Colleges or Universities in Minnesota The MAL consists of 33 graduate semester credits that can be completed in 2 years and the tuition rate for the 2018-19 wonk year is $759 per credit. The degree does not require a thesis but offers it as part of the elective options. Financing your degree. Many students finance their master’s in leadership through a combination of low-interest Stafford loans and other workable tuition reimbursement programs and grants. Formats and schedules. MAL offers several mix-and-match formats to unbend a variety of schedules. Our classic classroom, hybrid, and intensive formats offer a combination of face-to-face and online learning in varying proportions. Classic classroom is perfect for those who prefer mostly face-to-face instruction on our Minneapolis campus. Our hybrid learning format incorporates just 3 face-to-face sessions with mostly online learning. Intensive learning includes a travel seminar, a forum, and a five-day immersion. A limited number of electives are moreover offered 100% online. Designed for working adults, classes are held on weekday evenings and weekends. Whichever format you choose, you will learn in a polity with other leaders from diverse career fields.  Throughout the program you’ll find leadership minutiae support from faculty, staff, and students who value the insight you bring. Our alumni find that earning their MA in Leadership has enhanced their professional minutiae and leadership topics for doing good in all areas of their lives. In a recent survey (N = 120), alumni reported: The majority of alumni received a higher level of responsibility without earning their MAL degree. Of those who received a higher level of responsibility, the median time to unzip their new level was 1 – 1.5 years. This group had a median salary increase of between $10,00 and $12,000. MAL alumni thought they had gained increasingly confidence, wilt largest leaders, and wilt increasingly constructive employees. Transfer credit: With the clearance of the program director, if you have taken related graduate courses at flipside accredited institution, you may be worldly-wise to transfer up to six graduate level semester credits into the program.  Why Augsburg?
